Meet Barry — part goat, part mischief, 100% yarn.
He was supposed to be a simple ram, but somewhere between casting on the horns and embroidering that little pentagram on his forehead, he decided he had other plans.
Now he sits on the shelf, stroking his tiny tasselled goatee, judging my life choices, and demanding tribute in the form of snacks. Most unbothered dark lord a skein of yarn has ever produced.
10/10 would summon again.

Yarn:
Stylecraft special dk
50g Parchment (stone)
15g Violet (dark purple)
15g Lavender (light purple)
Scrap amounts of black and white yarn for the
eye highlights and nose.
 
Needles:
3.5mm Straight needles
 
Other supplies:
Toy stuffing
Tapestry Needle
Two 10mm safety eyes
A crochet hook to attach the goatee and tail hairs.
 
Size:
30 cm tall from feet to the tip of his horns.
 
Gauge:
Generally, gauge for knitted toys is not important, however, if you are substituting the yarn for this pattern, use knitting needles 2 sizes smaller than recommended on the yarn band to prevent the stuffing from showing through the stitches.
 
Abbreviations:

K: knit, if followed by a number, knit that amount of stitches
P: purl
St st: stocking stitch: alternate a row of knitting and a row of purling.
G st: garter stitch: knit every row
K2tog: knit two stitches together knitwise.
P2tog: purl two stitches together purlwise.
Kfb: knit in the front and back of the stitch, creating an increase.
Pfb: Purl in the front and back of the stitch, creating an increase.
YO: Yarn over
Ssk: Slip the next 2 sts on the LH onto the RH needle without knitting in. Insert the LH needle into the 2 slipped sts and knit them together.
Sl1: slip the next stitch from the left hand needle to the right hand needle without working it.
PSSO: pass the slipped stitch over the previously worked stitch.
W&T: Slip the next stitch from the left needle to the right needle without working it, bring the yarn to the front (if knitting) or back (if purling) between the needles, then slip that stitch back onto the left needle. Turn your work and continue in the opposite direction, leaving the remaining stitches unworked for now.
